The Inspiration behind this Piece:
The eyes definitely have it! I loved the open alert facial expression of this mountain lion. Mostly a shy secretive creature, they also possess great physical abilities, such as being able to leap 18’ straight up to a ledge or into a tree. Researchers can look their whole life for one of these big cats, and find nothing but tracks. Count yourself very lucky if you ever safely get to see one in the wild!
